- SMS consent text must show message type, frequency, Message and data rates may apply, STOP, HELP, Terms, and Privacy links, and must appear near the phone field and an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox.
- The privacy policy must state that mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Merchants may not import purchased lists, scraped numbers, or message non-consenting recipients; marketing SMS consent should be separate from booking/account transactional SMS.
Payments and merchant launch
- Online payments are processed by Stripe / Square. MagiBooking does not store full card numbers.
- Merchants should publish clear cancellation policies, deposit rules, refund flows, and service descriptions.
- Medspa, massage, beauty, and related merchants should confirm licensing, insurance, consumer protection, and local operating compliance.
