SMS program

Dragon Byte Design Inc is the operator of the MagiBooking website, merchant dashboard, booking pages, and mobile apps.

MagiBooking may send messages to merchants, staff, and opted-in customers for account setup, login security, booking confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, waitlist notices, payment links, support, system notices, and expressly opted-in product or marketing updates.

SMS is not used for unauthorized third-party marketing. Marketing SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing paid MagiBooking services.

Consent and consent records

  • Users must actively check a separate SMS consent checkbox near the phone number field; SMS consent is not preselected.
  • The consent disclosure states message type, frequency, Message and data rates may apply, STOP, HELP, SMS Terms, and Privacy Policy links.
  • MagiBooking may keep consent source, page, timestamp, account or booking, merchant, phone number, and consent-language version as evidence for troubleshooting, opt-out, and communications compliance.
  • Merchants must be able to prove customer consent before importing customer lists or sending marketing SMS.

Message frequency

  • Account and booking message frequency varies based on account activity, booking volume, changes, cancellations, payments, and support requests.
  • Merchant marketing messages, if enabled, are typically limited to 4 per month unless the user expressly consents to another campaign.
  • A booking may generate confirmation, reminder, change, cancellation, and payment-related messages.

Fees, opt-out, and help

  • Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to unsubscribe.

Privacy and merchant responsibility

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are not transferred to outside lead buyers, ad networks, or data brokers.

Merchants must obtain clear customer consent before sending SMS through MagiBooking and must keep consent records. Purchased lists, scraped numbers, and messages to non-consenting recipients are prohibited.
