End users opt in by visiting https://www.magibooking.com/merchant/register, entering their phone number, and checking a separate SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox states message type, frequency, Message and data rates may apply, STOP, HELP, Terms, and Privacy.

Salon customers opt in on MagiBooking-powered booking pages by entering their phone number and checking a separate booking SMS consent checkbox before submitting an appointment request.

Message types and examples

  • Transactional: account setup, login/security, booking confirmation, reminders, changes, cancellations, waitlist, payment links, receipts, support updates.
  • Marketing: product updates, promotions, seasonal offers, and rebooking campaigns only when the user has expressly opted in.
